Joy in the morning
As flakes finally fall.
A few moments later:
No snowflakes at all!
A slight coat of white
On rooftops around,
But no snow at all
Is seen on the ground.
Christmas has passed,
So no dreaming there now.
I miss white covered trees,
Their snow-laden boughs.
Before winter’s gone
And bulbs push through the cold,
Please let the snow come
For our eyes to behold!

Hi Tina
It’s Charleen Kramer. It was so good to see you at Gordon’s New Year retreat. Hope the new Year is going well for you. Loved your blog.
Since you didn’t get much snow I’m sharing the picture I took this morning when I walked out to feed the birds.
I have a beautiful winter wonderland here so consider it yours. Sharing my snow with you.
Blessings to you ð¨ï¸ð¨ï¸ð¨ï¸ðï¸ðï¸ðï¸

I was just glancing through my email and wondered if you might write about the snow and there it was! Thank you for sharing your snow with me.

Your message makes think about how God ‘winterizes’ me. It is a time of quiet cultivation of my soil. I am being sifted, my rocks being removed, nutrients being added. God is preparing me for his future garden.
