A road trip in November reveals arrays of autumnal colors.
With glasses on to shade my eyes from the sun’s glare,
I witness the brilliant hues, overwhelming me with gratitude for creation.
Such beauty, Lord!
I pull the glasses down a bit to see if those colors are real.
Very pretty, but not as brilliant.
I must admit that the shades enhance the beauty of the colors.
I put them back on to enjoy the deeper reds, oranges and yellows.
What makes them more brilliant through the sunglasses?
I don’t know, but it makes me wonder through what lenses are we seeing the world?
I don the shades of gratitude and faith.
What is your lens?

Thank you. An attitude of gratitude.

Tina, what an original take! I always feel bad when the view through my sunglasses looks prettier than without them! This helps me see it differently.
Blessings! Amy
